For direct source background checks the average turnaround time is one to three business days. Information provided by our database sources is instantaneous. |

Most of our clients prefer to use the web-based online system because of its ease-of-use. However, you may fax or email requests if you prefer. You may obtain results via fax, email or mail. |

Is it always necessary that applicants sign a release form, authorizing a background screening? |
| |
Whenever a consumer reporting agency provides a screening on behalf of a client, the Fair Credit Reporting Act requires that the applicant sign a disclosure release form. There is an exception the FACT ACT provides, that in the case where a company suspects wrongdoing on the part of an existing employee, it may request a check on that individual without notifying the employee.
